A little while back, I got to chatting with Lee McLean. At the time, I’d just shared a conversation about the things I turn to when the world feels hard or tense, and Lee and I found ourselves deep in discussion about how the lessons we learn with horses often carry over into everyday life.
I found our chat so engaging that I asked her to come on the podcast, so we could share our thoughts with all of you.
If you don’t already know Lee, she’s a passionate horsewoman who “talks, thinks, and dreams horses non-stop.” Many of you may know her through her business and thoughtful writing, much of which she shares on her Facebook page, Keystone Equine.
In our conversation, we explore:
- The lessons we’ve learned from our horses and how they support us in daily life
- The nature of self-care (and our ongoing wrestle with it)
- Dealing with criticism
- Staying grounded and sane in the online world
It was such a pleasure to spend time with Lee, and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed the conversation.
👉 You can find Lee’s Facebook page here if you’d like to follow along with her work.
Please feel free to share if you know someone else who might like to hear this episode!
Have a wonderful rest of your day,
xx Jane
