When it comes to returning from injury, there are several narratives that are commonly talked about which I consider to be wildly inadequate when it comes to dealing with injury and trauma- “think positive” is one of them. In this episode, I talk about the returning from injury, the problem I have with the common rhetoric around it, and the necessity for it to be a visceral exploration of pressing reset for the body and mind in a way that is supportive and comforting.
